My wife hosted a few friends last night, and they all fell in love with this. They've all been fighting with bees lately, and they were not bothered once by any bugs. Every friend bought the netting on the spot – you're welcome to the company that manufactures this product. Little did I know, they would come in handy sooner! My son got bitten by a mosquito near his eye. This caused major swelling and irritation. As mentioned, he’s too little for medicine. I put a patch on, and the results speak for themselves. I’m amazed, and they helped my son not scratch the area. They’re so little and super sticky, he doesn’t even notice it’s on. Jenae Sitzes / BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed writer Jenae Sitzes swears by this stuff:

"I first put this setting spray to the test for a wedding that involved taking several trains in and out of Manhattan on a hot day and being in crowded rooms where airflow was ~limited~. As such, I was sweating up a storm, but my makeup looked *flawless* by the time I got home that night. Soon after that event, I put it to an even bigger task: surviving sweat, tears, and 12 hours of wear for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour. My makeup look was done by 2 p.m., and it stayed completely intact (minus the lipstick I purposefully wiped off while scarfing down post-concert pizza) until the time I got home just after 2 a.m. Here's what it endured during that timespan: multi-leg public transportation to and from the venue, waiting in lines under the blazing sun to get in, several meals and drinks, jumping, screaming, and literally full-on crying a number of times during the show.

"Most recently, I wore it to the Governors Ball music festival, where I was very concerned about my carefully crafted Chappell Roan-inspired eyeshadow look [pictured above] lasting all day under the very, VERY hot sun — and was pleased with how well my makeup held up. I now own this stuff in both a full- and travel-size. It dries on your face quickly and doesn't feel heavy or sticky (it doesn't feel like anything at all, TBH), and it's caused no issues for my dry, sensitive skin. It's been a complete game changer, especially during the hotter months, and I can't recommend it more!"

Dune Suncare is a small business making products to help you keep your skin safe from the sun's harmful rays.

Promising review: "This stuff is absolutely great. I'm a little darker, so I never really cared for sunscreen too much, especially since most of it is pasty and leaves white casts. As I get older, I try to use sunscreen more often for wrinkles and whatnot. My wife put me on to gel facial sunscreen, and this inspired me to try and find gel body sunscreen. I found this as a possible solution and bought a bottle for a Bali trip, and this worked amazingly. Absorbs quickly, goes on clear, smells good, and keeps me protected. I didn't have any issues related to burning, just make sure to apply based on directions, and a little goes a long way." —streetsurfer9000

The linen squares are good, but you have to keep them around (and keep replacing them), and they end up in the landfill. This little contraption really works, and I just rinse it at the end of the day and start over again the next. I kept one on my desk and bought a second for my purse. I can't believe that something finally works! My armpits don't smell bad. I can finally move my arms freely. The scent is wonderful; I love the smell, and it's not harsh on my skin. No more sunburn scalp nightmares. We all hate when our scalp gets sunburnt and, as it heals, gets flakes on our scalp or hairline peeling. Fret no more and buy this product. It doesn’t make your hair greasy and is perfect for spraying your hairline, scalp, part, etc. I do this with my child’s hair a lot because the sun just seems to stream right through her hair. Promising review: "I was skeptical, but I am AMAZED! I live in a third-floor, 950-square-foot apartment with vaulted ceilings. I needed something that would cool down the living room (which is a big open room shared by the kitchen, dining room, and hallway). We have a portable AC in both bedrooms, and at one point, I tried running both of them in the living room, but it would just not cool down. I was beginning to lose hope that the living room would ever cool down. I bought this unit and a very powerful fan, but since day one, I have not needed to use the fan. This thing is so powerful at cooling. It cools down the entire room (with vaulted ceilings) in less than eight minutes. It was easy to install as well. 12/10 would recommend" —Alexandrea Courtney-Wilson

32. A fast-absorbing Burt's Bees sunburn relief lotion if the sun has a tendency to turn you as red as a crab. It's formulated with coconut, aloe, and antioxidants to help soothe and hydrate your skin post-sun exposure.

www.amazon.com

Promising review: "I’m happy to say this product works! I purchased this product due to my inability to provide my skin with appropriate sun protection one day this summer. I proceeded to spend a night wishing that I could safely freeze myself into an ice cube. Midnight discomfort led me to this product. The initial use was a day or two after the day of regret, but it eased the discomfort and moisturized my reddened skin, helping to soften the leather layer I had started to form. Of course, this review would not be complete without me faulting myself a second time. Two times in one summer, I proved my inability to adult well. I applied this lotion the MINUTE I realized that I had experienced another exposure to the sun for too long a period. To my absolute joy, this product relieved my discomfort. It left a layer that stayed cool for a few hours (at which time I reapplied it), it was a little tacky to the touch (not sticky or oily), and my skin did not experience the crocodile and subsequent peeling experience it had earlier in the season. The scent is soft and not overpowering. I have experienced skin sensitivity in the past to products, but I had no issues with Burt’s Bees products. Thank you for providing me with such a helpful product." —Meghan

Her hair is so thick and very difficult to brush; this makes it easy peasy to brush the tangles out after a swim in the pool. It also softens her hair. When not used, the pool chemicals make her hair very stiff and dry. We even use this every once in a while just because! It smells wonderful and doesn’t make the hair greasy in any way. I cannot recommend this product enough!!!" —Emily

Promising review: "We recently moved to a beach area, and we are constantly there. This item has changed our entire lives! It lasts decently long (depending on how much you use it), it smells super good (not at all like baby powder), and it's super effective. It has saved me from vacuuming my car at least 1–2 times a week. I even use it on my dog's paws and bellies to make sure they're taken care of, too. I will definitely be buying the refill and another bag to have exclusively in the car." —Gabbs Uresti
