SINGAPORE – Thousands of YouTube accounts in the United States, Singapore, Australia and India were affected on Feb 18 after a glitch in the video streaming platform’s recommendations system.

According to a Reuters report citing data from Downdetector, a user-reported outage tracker, YouTube users in Britain and Mexico were also experiencing issues with the platform.
