KUALA LUMPUR: The national men’s junior hockey squad failed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Junior World Cup when they lost 1-3 to England in their last Group E match at Madurai International Hockey Stadium in India on Tuesday.

England got off to a good start with a goal from Henry Markham off a penalty corner in the fourth minute and Michael Royden’s 36th minute field goal put them in a commanding position.
