SINGAPORE – It has long been assumed that Singapore is sheltered from volcanic eruptions and tsunamis, but new research into 466 lesser-known undersea volcanoes in the region shows that the island state is not immune to rare, explosive events.
If a large, slumbering underwater volcano in the South China Sea were to erupt, it can set off tsunami waves that could reach Singapore’s coastlines.

Today there are so many parties fighting over south china sea. They just cannot sit down n talk to settle the issue/s amicably so as to arrive at a win win situation. If fighting continues endlessly,the Universe may one day think that enough is enough, n let the volcano erupt thus destroying the south china sea to the advantage of no one.
