A man has sparked a debate on social media after suggesting there's a time traveller in a 1941 photograph taken in South Side, Chicago – but not everyone is convinced

A seemingly ordinary photo from 1941 has sparked a frenzy, raising questions about the possibility of time travel. The image in question, captured by Edward Rosskam on Chicago's South Side, shows a lineup of sharply dressed children and teens outside a cinema.

The intrigue, however, centres on a boy at the photograph's edge. Some eagle-eyed observers on social media are convinced that the young man appears to be holding an iPad as he queues up for a film showing.
