Lee Wei Ling, Daughter of Lee Kuan Yew, Passes Away at 69
Lee Wei Ling, the daughter of Singapore’s founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, has passed away at the age of 69. Her younger brother, Lee Hsien Yang, announced her passing on Facebook, saying that she had been “extremely unwell” and had been battling a rare brain disorder.
Lee Wei Ling had been open about her health struggles, sharing her diagnosis with a rare brain disorder in August 2020. She had written about her experiences and struggles with the condition, describing her movements as “slow and hesitant” and having difficulty getting up from her futon.
