KUALA LUMPUR: Former Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) director Datuk N. Sundra Rajoo has been awarded RM400,000 in damages in his suit against the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) over defamatory articles published in 2018.

High Court judge Su Tiang Joo, who delivered his judgment after a full trial today, said the three elements required by Sundra to prove that the impugned articles were in fact defamatory had been proven on the balance of probabilities.

The court also awarded RM100,000 in costs to Sundra.
