The Real Unforgotten is airing on ITV and the two-part documentary follows a police team as they seek to bring Carol Morgan's killer to justice. For more than 40 years, the motive behind her death had never come to light.

Filmed over six years, the documentary recalls the lives of Carol and her husband, Allen Morgan, who ran a convenience store on a council estate in Linslade, Bedfordshire. On August 13, 1981, Allen called the police after he found his wife dead in the shop.
