Singapore actor Zhang Yaodong, 47, was seen operating a steamed seafood food stall in the Tampines industrial area.
The Malaysian was previously in the spotlight after he allegedly fathered a number of children with different women in China, Indonesia, and Thailand.
Photos shared by a netizen with the handle “Summer Fish” on Xiaohongshu show Zhang wearing black-rimmed glasses and a white t-shirt while taking orders and serving customers at the cash register.

Mediacorp’s talent management agency The Celebrity Agency distanced itself from Zhang in February 2025. The agency stated he was no longer an artiste under its management and that he has not participated in the filming of any new shows.
Zhang has kept a low profile and did not respond to media queries.
A member of the public posted about the sighting and wrote: “The food stall I eat at every afternoon is actually opened by him. Because his employees resigned, I saw him coming to help.”
The poster noted that Zhang looked “better in person” and mentioned that he spoke politely.
They wrote: “In fact, it is a great virtue to admit one’s mistakes and correct them.”
Zhang’s parents started out as hawkers and later opened a coffee shop, where he had assisted since he was little.
For numerous years, Zhang reportedly ran a catering business on top of filming.
He and actor Terence Cao previously operated a roast meat stall in a food court, but the business lasted less than two years. Zhang reportedly lost a six-figure sum.

He has also tried operating an Asian creative cuisine restaurant.
