Fandi Ahmad's wife, Wendy Jacobs, takes up Singapore citizenship
SINGAPORE — Wendy Jacobs, former model and wife of Singapore’s football legend Fandi Ahmad, has taken up Singapore citizenship.
South Africa-born Jacobs, 46, married Fandi in 1996. She has lived in Singapore for 24 years and has five children with Fandi.
The news was revealed by Dr Intan Azura Mokhtar, member of parliament for the Jalan Kayu ward in Ang Mo Kio. The MP and grassroots adviser for Ang Mo Kio GRC presented certificates of citizenship on Sunday (12 January) to 200 residents at a Citizenship Ceremony for Ang Mo Kio GRC and Sengkang West SMC.
