Celebrating CNY with song and dance
PROPERTY developer Mah Sing Group celebrated Chinese New Year by inviting several veteran singers to serenade guests. Held at Southville City Sales Gallery at Kuala Lumpur South, Bangi, the celebration during Chap Goh Meh was part of the company’s Homes of Prosperity Campaign. A 10 festival drums display kick-started the event, followed by acrobatic lion dancers performing on poles before everyone adjourned to the foyer for a yee sang-tossing session with the management and guests. The highlight of the event was veteran singer Crystal Liew Yan Yan, who gave a stellar performance followed by classic melody singers Glen Yu and Ong Boon. The event ended with traditional Chinese dance and music performances. Around 300 guests, including loyal customers as well as residents from nearby neighbourhoods, attended the event. “Chinese New Year is a special moment for all of us where we get to spend quality time with loved ones to celebrate the festival. “2019 was an eventful year for Mah Sing as we continued to grow as a property developer and came out with fit-for-purpose products that were tailor-made to the current market. “It is also our annual tradition to host Chinese New Year celebrations as a treat to our valued customers and the public. “This is one of Mah Sing’s tag lines: “Reinvent Space. Enhance Life,” said Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum. Also present were Mah Sing chief executive officer Datuk Ho Hon Sang, chief operating officer Everlyn Khaw, chief design officer Kevin Lew, executive director Datuk Steven Ng and FLP Realty founder Fallon Loo.
