The landslide occurred at a housing project at the foothill of Gunung Jerai.

ALOR SETAR: Two people are feared to have been buried alive in a landslide at the foot of Gunung Jerai in Gurun today.

The Kedah Fire and Rescue Department director, Sayani Saidon, said the department received an emergency call at 6.28pm and dispatched rescue personnel to the scene two minutes later.
