Singapore: using face shield instead of mask is allowed

According to MOH advisory (FAQs), surgical face masks are not the only protective gear that is allowed to be used when outdoors.
Any mask including reusable masks, DIY masks or plastic face shields, offer adequate basic protection.However plastic spit guards predominantly covering the mouth are not considered masks.

Use a plastic bag over the head with 2 holes punch for the eyes is the best protection all round. No virus will stick to your hair and exposed areas a mask fail to cover.
