Like most comic book movies, “Wonder Woman 1984” treats fans to some extra content via a fun mid-credits scene, and it’s one that both expands on a big plot point in the movie and shouts out to the history of Wonder Woman as a pop culture icon.

It doesn’t tease any upcoming movies from the larger DC Extended Universe like “The Suicide Squad” or “Aquaman 2,” but it might, possibly, suggest something about future “Wonder Woman” movies. Maybe. Though we think it’s just a fun extra moment that calls back to something Wonder Woman herself, Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), said earlier in the film.
