Derek Chauvin has now been convicted of the murder of George Floyd, a result which saw Floyd's sister Tonya declare: "My brother got justice, and that's very rare."

However, this wasn't the first time a complaint has been filed against the former Minneapolis police officer.

In fact, Chauvin - who was found guilty of second degree unintentional murder, third degree murder, and second degree manslaughter - has 18 previous grievances on his record since joining the force in 2001, according to police figures provided to CNN.
