Lawyer was bankrupt, allegedly claimed to be practising and borrowed money from client

SINGAPORE - The Chief Justice has allowed an application by the Law Society to investigate a complaint against a bankrupt non-practising lawyer.
The complaint was made against Ms Helen Chia Chwee Imm, who has been a lawyer for more than 20 years.

Even professional like lawyer also defaulted because of bankruptcy. So how to trust the elitists in Singapore ? And this lawyer is not cheap to be engaged given the dubious financial status and real performance of her.

Never trust a lawyer even he/she knows the law. Same goes with politicians, as well as doctors... it’s “business” these days!
