After four en bloc attempts, both the shopping mall Peace Centre and residential complex Peace Mansion went back on the market for the fifth time and were finally sold.
At $650 million, the buyers are property players Ultra Infinity and Chip Eng Seng, a Sing-Haiyi Crystal joint venture.

It should be interesting to see how the “ shift of the CHINESE FUNDS” into the SINGAPORE LANDSCAPE amidst the crumbling property market in China. THIS IS EVEN WORSE THAT WHAT HAPPENED IN JAPAN. THE SEMBLANCE OF THE ESCALATING MARKET IN SINGAPORE IN NO NEW STORY. THESE SCRIPTED FLOW OF HOT MONIES CANNOT CHANGE VERY MUCH AND GLOSSY BUILDINGS DO NOT DUPLICATE RETURNS FOR USERS AND INVESTORS. COUPLED WITH A PROJECT DEVELOPMENT PERIOD, CAUTION MAY BE IN ORDER. THE PEACE CENTER/ PEACE MANSION MAY HAVE AN ADVANTAGE IF IT CAN BE LAUNCH IN 5 YEARS DUE TO TGE RELATIVELY SMALL DOMESTIC MARKET AND SAFE HAVEN STATUS. LETS SEE HOW THE PANDEMIC WORKED OUT THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. IF IT CAN BE IF ANY GUIDANCE , ELON MUSK HAD SOLD OFF HIS LAST OF THE MEGA PROPERTIES AND IS NOW STAYING IN A MODEST RESIDENCE NEAR HIS NEW BASE. SO MUCH FOR A WORLD RANKING WEALTHIEST . It is a matter of time all these old structures will be gone as the country developed further. Limited space available to cater to their projected population expansion plans
